Polygon PoS uses MATIC as gas. Even at 200 Gwei on Polygon, a transfer costs under $0.002 because MATIC trades much lower than ETH. Gas spikes happen during NFT mints and token launches but settle fast. If you're bridging from Ethereum, the Polygon bridge charges L1 gas — check the Ethereum tab first.
